These assignments will align with my goal to research eConsults and their impact on our healthcare system. In my most recent course I will be exploring how health promotion strategies can improve continuity of care and equitable access in these settings.

Unlearning to Relearn: Challenging Biases for Equitable Healthcare Innovation

In this presentation, I introduce the Diffusion of Innovations Theory as a way to understand how new healthcare tools, like eConsults, can gain traction across systems and communities. I connect this theory to my ongoing work in promoting equitable, community-driven digital health solutions for rural and Indigenous populations, where access and trust remain vital to improving care.
